MEET LIZ & LUNA
Hi! My name is Liz.
The mountains have always been my refuge, a place where the world slows down and every trail feels like a new adventure.
When I adopted Luna, my Great Pyrenees (a very much a failed foster), our hikes together became the inspiration for Ridge Rover Pack — giving dogs the chance to experience real trail adventures, fresh air, and the balance that comes from being part of a pack.
Why Hiking Instead of Dog Walking?
Most dogs were never meant to spend their lives walking the same sidewalks every day. While neighborhood walks are helpful, they often don’t provide the level of physical exercise and mental stimulation that many dogs truly need.
On the trail, dogs experience new scents, varied terrain, and the natural rhythm of moving with a pack. The combination of exploration, structured movement, and fresh air provides both physical exercise and mental fulfillment that a typical walk simply can’t replicate.
Hiking can help build confidence, improve focus, and reduce anxiety.
At Ridge Rover Pack, every hike is designed to give dogs the opportunity to move, explore, and return home fulfilled.
